Peter Canty arrived at Rescue Outreach Mission a few months ago. The case management team at the shelter worked with our partners to find him a job and apartment in Alabama where he now lives. “They will give you the chance you need,” Peter said. “This place is unbelievable.”
Then, we reconnected Anita Blake with her family after she gave birth to a daughter while staying at the shelter. “We came here with a single backpack and no hope,” Anita said as she was leaving. “We ended up being taken care of by everybody at Rescue Outreach Mission.”
