The UCF Business Incubation Program’s new location in Lake County/Eustis expanded the number of clients it works with in January, welcoming in three companies to its roster of clients
The three companies joined the Incubation program last month representing a diverse group of industries. All three have the potential to scale and grow to become key players in the regional economy in the future.
“As I thought when I joined the incubator team myself, meeting and working with the entrepreneurs chasing their dreams has been inspiring,” says Brian Bedrick, site manager, Lake County/Eustis Business Incubator, “Each of these companies has the desire and passion to create something great and we’re looking forward to being a part of their journey.”
The three new companies are as follows:
- Scan ID 365 was started after a tragic accident where first responders could not find medical history to treat the owners’ friend after an accident. The company has developed a unique system of software and hardware where emergency details are always at hand and accessible instantly when it matters most.
- Upaya Health is working to transform the world of medicine with unique natural formulations that maximize one's well-being with high-quality CBD and other products to improve the human condition.
- Intelligence Factory offers a suite of technology products that utilizes AI throughout the healthcare billing cycle to eliminate inefficiencies and ensure a faster, more accurate claims process, enabling healthcare providers to spend more time on patient care.
“Innovation doesn’t happen in isolation,” says Justin Brochetti, co-founder & CEO, Intelligence Factory. “It takes visionaries who believe in the mission and amplify the message. From day one, Brian and the UCF Business Incubation Program have advocated for our growth, helping us shine not just as a company, but as a proud representative of Lake County's tech ecosystem.”
“The mentorship and support we’ve received from Brian Bedrick and the UCF Business Incubator Program have been instrumental to the growth of Scan ID 365,” says Daniel White, CEO, Scan ID 365. “From connecting us with experts in accounting and patent review to arranging opportunities to present to influential organizations like Lake County, the City of Eustis, Smart City, 1Million Cups and others, the program has gone above and beyond to ensure our success.”
