Client companies are finalists in the Orlando regional competition of Startup World Cup
Orlando, Fla. (September 13, 2024) – Over the past several months and throughout September, pitch competitions have taken place around the world to be the regional representative for Startup World Cup.
Next week, one of those is being hosted by Orlando Tech Community and two clients of the UCF Incubation Program are among the Top 10: Atom Advantage and Kismet Technologies.
“One of the best ways our clients can get in front of investors and showcase their efforts is through pitch competitions such as ones like this,” says Carol Ann Logue, director, of programs & operations, Innovation Districts & Incubation Program, University of Central Florida. “It’s a tremendous accomplishment for both companies to be selected for the regional final and be a leader in this global competition.”
According to its LinkedIn, Startup World Cup is “a series of global startup conferences and competitions, powered by Pegasus Tech Ventures. It consists of 100+ regional startup competitions in more than 20 different countries around the world, leading up to the Grand Finale in Silicon Valley.”
The event was first hosted in 2023, but this is the first time the event will have a regional event in Orlando. The event will take place on September 18 at the Orlando Science Center with tickets available here.
