Fla., (November 16, 2023) – - The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce a fundamental change in its hiring policy, now opening doors for qualified candidates as young as 18 years old to join the organization as Detention Deputies at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility, including the opportunity to become certified through the organization’s sponsorship program, once reserved exclusively for candidates with college degrees.
