One of the key metrics for any business is to gauge how it performs against its peers across the country.
This month, the national organization Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy unveiled its Chamber Clean Energy Toolkit. This platform shows the efforts of more than 100 chambers nationwide discussing various aspects of diversifying and growing the country's energy portfolio.
This toolkit features programs from some of the biggest chambers in the country, like the Greater Cleveland Partnership, the Metro Atlanta Chamber, the Greater Houston Partnership and the Indiana Chamber.
The Seminole County Chamber was included in two specific efforts.
First, the group highlighted our EV Charger program, where members can receive no-cost EV Chargers for their business. We're still working with a few members to launch our first chargers, but this program is unique throughout the country. If you are interested, please click here for more information.
Second, earlier this year Rebekah Arthur provided comments as the state builds its EV Charger permitting process. The request was for as few regulations and additional requirements as possible to allow the market to build out the charger network as consumer demand builds.
The state listened by removing barriers that control market forces. You can learn more about the proposed rule here. Click on the first Word logo to read the actual language of the rule.
We're proud to be included in this database as we work to provide unique programs for our members and advocate for free market principles to give businesses the ability to provide their goods and services without unnecessary government intervention.
