Optimus Energy Solutions Recognized at GrowFL Event

Mt. Dora, Fla., (February 21, 2024) – Last week, Optimus Energy Solutions was recognized at the annual GrowFL dinner, where the statewide organization recognized the top 50 businesses to watch in the state.

Optimus Energy Solutions, which provides solar energy and electric vehicle charging solutions, was one of the companies to accept the award. More than 600 businesses applied to be recognized.

“We are grateful to be included alongside many innovative companies. In particular, we are thankful for the support we’ve received from our partners, vendors and clients over the years,” says Ben Pauluhn, president, Optimus Energy Solutions. “This sets a stage for us to grow throughout the state as the market for solar and electric vehicles continues to mature.”

This was the 13th year GrowFL released its list of the top 50 companies to watch, which is selected by past honorees, economic development leaders and corporate partners of GrowFL.

According to GrowFL, the criteria to be chosen includes:

  • growth in the number of employees;
  • impact of the business in the job market;
  • increase in sales and/or unit volume;
  • current and past financial reports;
  • innovativeness of the product or service;
  • response to adversity; and
  • contributions to aid community-oriented projects.
“As Chair of GrowFL’s Advisory Board, I am honored to witness the remarkable growth and ongoing success of Florida’s businesses year after year,” said Pete Previte. “These companies truly embody the true spirit of entrepreneurship and resilience. Like the 600 Honorees before them, they have overcome challenges, continued to innovate, and successfully lead their team. Their inspiring stories of triumph stand as a testament to the exceptional business environment that thrives here in Florida. It is our privilege to celebrate them and their remarkable achievements.”

Optimus Energy Solutions was founded in 2018 by Pauluhn. Since then, the company has grown to be one of the leading installers of commercial and residential solar energy solutions and electric vehicle chargers in Florida, operating throughout the state.

The company is one of just two companies in Lake County to be recognized on this year’s Companies to Watch list.
