More Than 1,200 Students, Faculty And Staff Simultaneously Perform Community Service In Three Cities

 On Nov. 18, more than 1,200 students, faculty and staff from AdventHealth University headed to more than 60 agencies in the Tampa, Denver, and Orlando areas to serve the community during the inaugural All-AHU Service Day.
 
“This is the very first time we’ve come together with our students to serve our community in this impactful way,” said Kendra Presley, EMHA, CCEL, director of community and student engagement for AdventHealth University. “This is a historic day for our university, as service learning is such an important aspect of developing professionals who will practice health care as a ministry.”
