Following Hurricane Milton, all AdventHealth facilities in Flagler, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties are fully operational and caring for patients. Clean-up activities are underway for any minimal damage that was sustained.
During the hurricane:
- More than two dozen babies were delivered, and several critical surgeries were performed.
- Our staffing models ensured we had ample team members and physicians, including specialists, at hospitals across Central Florida. More than 300 physicians remained at the hospitals overnight to ensure critical coverage.
- AdventHealth Centra Care continues to offer complimentary video visits with a medical provider for patients in Florida through 8 p.m. today (Thursday) with the use of the code “Milton.”

AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City experienced some water intrusion overnight. Our teams responded quickly to manage the situation effectively, and the hospital remains open and is actively caring for patients. Many major roadways – including those in close proximity to AdventHealth Fish Memorial – are impacted by the effects of the hurricane.
To access AdventHealth Fish Memorial, the community is advised to only use the hospital's north entrance off Harley Strickland Boulevard. The AdventHealth Deltona ER (3108 Howland Blvd., Deltona, FL 32725) is also open and fully operational.
