Christian Tech Center Ministries’ Andre Klass Receives Proclamation from City of Longwood

Andre Klass, founder and executive director of the local non-profit organization Christian Tech Center Ministries, was recently honored by the City of Longwood in recognition of three full years of service of providing essential technological resources to the Central Florida community.

During the June 2 city commission meeting, Klass was given a special proclamation by Mayor Brian Sackett, to much fanfare from the attending public. Deputy Mayor Abby Shoemaker and City Commissioners Tony Boni, Matt McMillan, and Matt Morgan were also present to commemorate the occasion. Also joining Klass in the gallery was Christian Tech Center board member Antonio Reyes.

"The city of Longwood commends Andre Klass for his vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to serving the community through Christian Tech Center Ministries," said Brian Sackett, Mayor of the City of Longwood.

"This is truly a historic milestone representing the evolution and maturity of Christian Tech Center Ministries, and the ever growing impacts being made across our local community and beyond," said Andre Klass, founder and executive director of Christian Tech Center Ministries. "I couldn't have asked for a better city to not only establish the heart of my technology career, but to have leadership that fully embraces and supports everything we do."

Since launching in 2022, Christian Tech Center Ministries has already given away over 2,400 free computers to underprivileged families and other nonprofit organizations, and performed a large amount of complimentary repair services and technology workshops. The organization is currently preparing for several more significant projects including upcoming back-to-school distributions for the 2025-2026 school year.
