Angels of Mercy Ministries was created by Aura Lynn-Rouse in 2019 to serve women returning from prison, jail, and rehab. I witnessed first hand the revolving door in John E. Polk in 2008-2009 after a horrible accident. I was restored to help these women know they can be an upstanding citizen again. Your past doesn't define you. We currently bring "Angels on the Inside," into JEP. I have several volunteers to teach these women basic skills, recovery, employability, and discuss the trauma and other matters they need to address. I run a small boutique, "Angels 2nd Chance Boutique," that runs totally on donations to generate revenue to support our transitional homes. We have two properties here in Seminole County, housing up to 22 women. We help these, "Angels," become who God intended them to be. We focus on God, recovery, and then balancing life. We have reunited many women to their children, and families. Many are currently living, thriving, and contributing back into society.
