Description
Get down and dirty at the 2017 Spring Fling benefiting the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens!
We will be kicking off National Garden Month with our Spring Fling! Activities will include our wildly popular Plant Swap, a vendor area featuring gardening supplies, plants and more, tours of the Zoo’s Botanical and Destination Gardens, and lots of opportunities to learn from experts and gardening enthusiasts, all while supporting the Horticulture Department at the Zoo!
This event will be held rain or shine. The event will be at the Rainforest Pavilion. Look for the plastic pink flamingos! Admission to the Zoo is separate and not required to attend the event at the Rainforest Pavilion.
Registration and a fee of $10 are required for all those interested in swapping to reserve table space at the event. To participate in the swap, please register here.
Plant Swap Details: After checking in, a volunteer will assist you in getting your swap items to your table. This is a good time to scope out a spot away from the tables where you can stash the plants you grab during the swap. Be sure to label all the plants you bring and include your name. All participants are responsible for negotiating their own swaps individually. It is up to you to determine the value of your items, and trade with other participants accordingly. Plants, cuttings, seeds, gardening tools and miscellaneous garden related items are all welcome at the swap. The only rule: NO invasive plants, please. View a list of invasive plants here.
Vendors interested in attending should contact 407.323.4450 ext. 105
