Jim Thomas, Central Florida Tech Fund/NASA iTech
Jim Thomas is an entrepreneur, international speaker, and futurist thought leader. Jim is also a partner at the venture capital firm Kirenaga and runs the Central Florida Tech Fund. The mission of the Tech Fund is to bring additional capital and support to early-stage companies throughout the region. Jim has also served as a competition judge to the NASA iTech program.
Prior to joining Kirenaga, Jim served as the CEO of the Central Florida Tech Alliance. The Tech Alliance was dedicated to connecting industry tech leaders to each other, to the startup and scaling communities, as well as to the nonprofit sector to foster growth and innovation in the Central Florida region.

Maryann will be sharing her inspiring story with us at our Professional Women's Luncheon later this month, but since SeminoleTech's theme is SPACE this month she has decided to share her exciting upcoming journey with us!
Maryann has recently added another exciting and out of this world opportunity to her resume. She will be fulfilling her childhood dream to travel to space, when she rockets toward the stars with Virgin Galactic as a Pioneer Commercial Astronaut! She completed her Future Astronaut onboarding with Virgin Galactic in London this past June.
