Description
The New Year begins with an exhibit by Lillian Verkins. With From Whence We Came, Verkins fills the gallery space with vibrant and colorful Spacescapes paintings inspired by imagery from the Hubble Space Telescope. Verkins earned a BFA in photography and printmaking from the University of Central Florida.
The Seminole State College Fine Arts Gallery provides memorable exhibitions for diverse audiences, students and artists that promote the value and understanding of contemporary art within a local, national and international context.
The exhibit opens from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11 , and continues through Feb. 1.
