Mike Friedman is the Owner and Head Instructor of Champion Karate\, proudly serving the Lake Mary community since 2003. With over 35 years of martial arts experience\, Mike holds a 7th Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo and is a certified Guro in Pambuan Arnis\, a respected Filipino martial arts system. A nationally ranked martial artist and multiple-time state champion\, Mr. Friedman has competed at the highest levels\, earning a #1 ranking in A.S.K.L.\, a #3 world ranking on the N.A.S.K.A. circuit\, and recognition in the Kenpo Karate Hall of Fame. But what truly sets Mr. Friedman apart is his mission to help young people develop the inner strength to succeed&mdash\;not just on the mats\, but in life. At Champion Karate\, he leads a team committed to building confidence\, character\, discipline\, and emotional resilience in children and adults of all ages. Through his groundbreaking Leadership Pathway Program\, Mike teaches students how to regulate their emotions under pressure\, communicate like leaders\, and carry themselves with courage in all areas of life. His work has made a lasting impact in Central Florida and beyond. Mike has been recognized by the City of Lake Mary with an official proclamation declaring December 21st as &ldquo\;Champion Karate Day&rdquo\; and has been featured on \;CNN\, Orlando Sentinel\, and every major local news network. Champion Karate has also been ranked #1 Martial Arts School in Orlando by the Orlando A-List. In addition to running one of the area&rsquo\;s most respected martial arts academies\, Mike shares his time with the Lake Mary Rotary\, the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce\, and serves on the Advisory Board at Kaiser University. He also partners with schools and community organizations to offer youth-focused workshops in self-defense\, emotional regulation\, and leadership development.
